This handguard set is legit! Fit was tight (as expected and detailed in the manual provided). Instructions were detailed and final result was spot on as described! Both the finish and tooling was great and I highly suggest it for modernizing your VZ.
Note: Minor smithing skills are suggested and if you don’t have a standard punch set, plastic hammer, and bench block (or equivalent), it is recommended you get one or bring it to a competent gunsmith.

This upper/lower handguard set from Bonesteel Arms is the absolute lightest set available for the VZ-58. I also like how it will accept picatinny and M-LOK accessories. It sits low on the upper rail and is not bulky. I co-witness on mine with a Leica red dot.
There are some upper and lower rails available on the market that are made of plastic but are complete garbage. The “tactical” handguard set made in the Czech Republic and made from Duralumin, looks cheap. It also is heavier and the upper rail sits too high to co-witness.

Got my order super fast. TIGHT fit that is perfect for my vz-58. Couldn’t have asked for more:) Retention scews and such make it a professional upgrade and not a lateral Bubba move….
